I was pleased with the entry for my first Championship Show Appointment. It was a lovely show with a real Christmas atmosphere. The quality on a whole was very good. All exhibits were clean and well presented.

MINOR PUPPY (2)

1st. William's Lakecastle Princess Royal at Wistaston, very pretty Orange Belton, good head and eye, typical melting expression, good straight front and width of chest, level topline, sound mover, moving straight when viewed from front and rear, BP Bitch & BP in Show. 2nd ,Hacking's Benrae Royal Star, Blue Belton & Tan very much a baby just 6 months, lots to like about her, good body proportions, good head and length of neck, deep in chest, good topline, lost out to 1 on maturity & movement.

PUPPY (5, 1)

1st. Lakecastle Princess Royal at Wistaston. 2nd.Lawson's Mariglen Ice Crystal, Blue Belton, clean outline, level topline, liked her head and expression, good rear angulation, good spring of rib, good width & depth of chest, feet need to tighten up. 3rd.Burton's Redhara Crystal Cracker. 4thBenrae Royal Star

JUNIOR (4, 1)

1st. Hill, Muckle, & Littlechild's, Canonsett All About Romance, pretty Orange Belton, lovely head and expression, good eye, elegant neck into well placed shoulders, level topline, deep in chest, strong bone, good feet, straight front, steady mover. 2nd. Oliver's Bramstorm Line Dancer, dark Blue Belton, liked her overall confirmation, good head & dark eye, well placed shoulders, deep chest, good coat, moved well, not a lot between 1 & 2. 3rd.Tucker's Walshaw Moonlight and Roses

 VETERAN (8, 2) a wonderful class of oldies, it was hard to pick a winner.

1st. Dykes's Caleydene Special Prayer, 81/2 years, dark Blue Belton, compact with good front and rear angulation, liked her head and expression, in full coat moved well with drive. 2nd. Dennis's Sh Ch Fenston Arabella at Mariglen, 71/2 years, Orange Belton, with good overall confirmation, beautifully presented in full coat, moved very well, just preferred head of 1. 3rd. Taylor's Wansleydale Blackbird. 4th. Bradford's Fields of Gold at Bilandris. 5th.Mitchel & Withey's Sunsprake Finn's Fantasy at Scratchwood

YEARLING (6, 1)

1st. Watkin's Valsett Starlite Rosey Moon, Orange Belton, quality bitch, lovely head & expression, well balanced, good shoulder placement, depth and width of chest, strong bone, neat feet, correct bend of stifle, in good coat, moved well. 2nd. Normansell's Larrenie Sloeberry, Blue Belton & Tan, lots to like about her good head and expression, good overall confirmation, just a bit erratic on the move. 3rd. Dodd's Larrenie Rowanberry at Lyncarda. 4th. Mitchell & Withey's Sunsprake Summer Breeze. 5th .Simpson's Larrenie Blueberry at Dalreavoch

MAIDEN (5, 1)

NOVICE ((5, 2)

1st. Canonsett Truly Romantic. 2nd. Redhara Crystal Cracker, Blue Belton & Tan, very pretty with lovely head and expression, level topline, good hindquarters, balanced overall, just wasn't settled at all on the move. 3rd.Larrenie Blueberry at Dalreavoch

UNDERGRADUATE ((5, 2)

1st. Larrenie Sloeberry. 2nd.Armstrong's Bargrennan Gigha, Blue Belton & Tan, with lots of good points, pretty head and expression, level topline, not quite as stong in front as 1. 3rd. Mariglen Ice Crystal

GRADUATE (3)

1st. Wilson's Ravensett Blue Silk, light Blue Belton, balanced with clean outline, good head and expression, good bend of stifle, moved with drive. 2nd. Johnston's Larrenie Ruby Tuesday, dark Orange Belton, short and compact, good front and rear with level topline, moved well, preferred head of 1. 3rd. Dykes Caleydene Remember Me

POST GRADUATE (12, 5)

1st. Normasell's Larrenie Brown Sugar, Orange Belton, compact with good confirmation, liked her head and expression, good lay back of shoulder, good length of upper arm, well bodied with good spring of rib, looked at her for RCC but she wouldn't settle on the move. 2nd. Schoneville & Derry's Fantail's Just Georgia Voor Balvenie, Dark, Blue Belton & Tan another compact bitch with good overall confirmation, just preferred head & expression of 1. 3rd. Wilson's Westonfield's April Showers. 4th .Cooper's Settrenda Golden Promise. 5th. Henry's Beechanger Little Shrew

MID LIMIT (2)

1st. Attwood's Swannery Finlandia, classy Orange Belton, lovely clean outline, everything in proportion, lovely head with true melting expression, good front with good forechest and length of upper arm, good spring of rib, in full coat, moved well, has the elegance I was looking for. Pleased to award her the CC, R BIS. 2nd. Callander & Isherwood's Shambellie Angel Eyes, Blue Belton & Tan, good front and rear, balanced head with sweet expression, slightly longer in body than 1 and short of coat. Moved well.

 LIMIT (8, 1)

1st. Taylor & Oliver's Wansleydale Cloudberry at Bramstorm, Dark Blue Belton & Tan, I liked her clean outline, she isn't flashy but is well balanced with lovely head and expression, excellent front, strong bone, neat feet, very sound mover, lacking in coat but a well deserved winner. RCC. 2nd. Darley's Severnsett Dancing Queen, Blue Belton, lovely bitch, in full coat with super head and expression, elegant neck into well placed shoulder, good length of upper arm, level topline which she kept on the move, slightly longer cast that 1, moved well. 3rd. Callander & Isherwood Shamebllie Dance Away to Laverstoke 4th. Swannell's Bournhouse Secret Love at Rickery . 5th.Harris's Bondgate Evening over Mariglen

Dennis's Sh Ch Mariglen Francesca Fenston, elegant Orange Belton, good overall confirmation, lovely head and neck into well placed shoulder, good topline, well presented in full coat, moved well. 2nd. Morgan & Bott's Sh Ch Quensha Little Jeanie, another Elegant Orange with clean outline, well balanced with good body proportions, liked her head and expression, in full coat, moved well, very little between first 2 could change places anytime. 3rd ,organ & Bott's Fishwick Queen of The Night at Quensha. 4th.
