JUDGES REPORT - S.E.S.S. OPEN SHOW 16/06/06

Southern English Setter Society Open Show at Worplesdon, Nr Guildford, Surrey on Sunday 16th July 2006.

It was a pleasure to judge the Southern English Setter Open Show held at Worplesdon. The weather really was too hot to show dogs, which reflected in the number of absentees, so I fully understand why exhibitors wanted to keep their dogs at home. Nevertheless, I want to thank all exhibitors and dogs that did come along and the Officers and Committee who rounded off what was for me a most enjoyable day especially by providing some shade in the ring for myself and the dogs. BIS Day's Decoverly Celtic Venture, RBIS Gilbert's Mariglen Steals the Show at Shadowood BPIS Dunks' Samelen One Man, BVIS Young's Ownways Touch of Spice.
