Three Counties Championship Show 10/06/2011 English Setters I would like to thank all the exhibitors for a lovely quality entry, presentation was of a high standard throughout, and I am sure many exhibits will change places on another day. MPD (1,1a) PD (1) 1.Jolley & Taylor’s Wansleydale Tribute To Jolymore, o/b balanced head and soft expression with low set ears, good neck and shoulders, straight front, clean in outline, used his well angulated quarters to drive round the ring. BP JD (1) 1.Jones’ Kerrimere Catch A Dream for Redbornstoke, short coupled o/b with pleasing masculine head, good body properties and tight feet, well bent stifle, in good coat, moved well using his hocks. GD(9,2a) 1. Hacking’s Benrae Royal Variety, lovely headed orange with darkest of eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline and tailset, excellent quarters, in full coat, very much on his toes today as he moved with drive using his tail. 2. Goutorbe’s Upperwood Grove Monkey, well balanced o/b, elegant head with soft expression, good angulation front and rear, in hard condition, moved soundly but lacked the drive of one today 3. Sayers & Dennis’ Sh Ch Mariglen Blue Flame For Christter, short coupled blue in full coat, well balanced head with dark expressive eyes, deep in chest, nice bone and tight feet, good angulation moved with drive RCC 3. Mortimer’s Phlerdor Colour of Magic, short coupled light tri, good body and bone, pretty head with dark eye, good upper arm angulation and well bent stifle moved steadily. 2. Hewitt’s Bournehouse Solitaire,tri, lighter boned than 1, feminine head and expression, good angulation front and rear, neat feet, needs time to mature, moved soundly. PB (4,1a) 1. Montell’s Culverwell Claribel, mature well coated o/b, deep chest and excellent bone, feminine head and expression, good length of neck into clean shoulders, nice turn of stifle, moved with drive BPB 2. Bates’ Valsett Starlite Ruby Blush At Tudorfield, very pretty o/b with lovely dark eye, unlucky to meet 1 today, well angulated with good bone, nice body properties, moved well. 3. Condron & Needs’ Covarney Blue Velvet Via Stourford JB (8,2a) 1. Goutorbe’s Upperwood Snowball For Redhara JW, elegant well chiselled head with lovely dark eye, deep chest with good angulation and correct bone, tight feet , in excellent coat and condition, stylish mover. 2. Howarth’s Moorbrook Mary Rose, close up to 1, well balanced orange, pretty head and soft expression, good bone and spring of rib, reachy neck into correctly laid shoulders, good quarters used well on the move. 3. Sharples’ Mariglen Flaming Sunset  GB (7,1a) 1. Hartle’s Hartsett Cherry Bee JW, this o/b stood out in this class, a picture of elegance, feminine head and expression, long neck flowed into well laid shoulders, plenty of substance, good bend of stifle, in full coat, moved with drive and style. Considered her in the challenge but just lost on maturity, her time will come I am sure. 2. Oliver’s Bramstorm Line Dancer, short coupled dark blue with good spring of rib, pleasing in head and expression, well angulated fore and aft, moved well 3. Hacking’s Benrae Royal Star PGB (6,1a) 1.Stirk’s Ravensett Diamond Romance With Grakar, feminine headed tri, with soft expression and dark eye, nice length of neck, correct lay of shoulder and good turn of stifle, moved well using her tail to advantage. 2. Sharples’ Mariglen Crystal Gayle, close up to 1, well bodied tri, with deep chest and plenty of bone, pretty head and expression, long neck and good angulation, in good coat and condition, moved soundly 3. Montell’s Culverwell Summer Sequel LB (4,1a) 1.Kelly’s Upperwood Co-Co Chanel for Richecca, this elegant well balanced orange bitch took my eye with her feminine head and melting expression , super neck into clean shoulders, compact body and deep chest, strong quarters and neat feet, shown in excellent coat and condition, stylish mover with slashing tail. CC 2. Goutorbe’s Upperwood Betty Barclay, well coated o/b, good spring of rib with plenty of bone, pretty head with dark eye, in excellent condition, moved soundly with drive, unfortunate to come against 1 in top form 3. Henry’s Beechanger Little Shrew OB (9,1a) 1. Darley’s SH Ch Severnsett Dancing Queen, elegant well boned blue, clean in outline, correct front and spring of rib, classic head with low set ears and soft expression, long neck into well laid shoulders, lovely bend of stifle, in good coat and condition, moved well covering the ground.
